Charging for your battery type
Choose from eight presets for lithium, AGM, Gel and flooded batteries, or customize charging settings in VictronConnect to meet the battery manufacturer requirements.
VE.Direct remote monitoring
Connect an optional GX device through VE.Direct to monitor your system through the VRM portal. A compatible GX setup also supports coordinated charging through DVCC.
Adaptive four-stage charging
The adaptive charging algorithm adjusts absorption time to match discharge history. Bulk, absorption, float and storage stages help maintain the battery between trips.
Temperature and voltage protection
Configurable input-voltage lockout helps protect the starter battery. Lithium low-temperature cutoff requires battery-temperature data shared by a compatible device, such as a SmartShunt or BMV-712.
Protection for demanding use
The IP65-rated electronics enclosure resists dust and water exposure. Built-in overload, short-circuit and overheating protection helps safeguard the charger during everyday operation.

Configurable voltage and current
Set input current limits to help prevent alternator overload. Adjust charging voltage for lithium, AGM, Gel and other battery chemistries. The Orion XS 1400 also supports 12V-to-24V and 24V-to-12V conversion for mixed-voltage systems.
