Yes and no. You’ll pay for the unit and installation up front — just like a normal purchase. However, if you complete the trial and decide the system isn’t right for your fleet, we’ll remove the unit and fully refund the cost of the unit and installation. That makes it a zero-risk opportunity for qualified fleets.
During installation, permanent holes will be drilled as part of the standard mounting process. These modifications will not be reversed if you choose to return the unit after the trial.
The trial runs for 3 months from the date of installation. This gives your driver enough time to evaluate real-world performance during day-to-day operations.
Installation must be done at our Polar Fox APU headquarters in Canton, Ohio. If any troubleshooting or repairs are needed during the trial, they must also be handled at this same location.
The trial program is limited to one unit per fleet. After the trial, fleets may choose to proceed with volume purchases.
