Warranty Policy

This warranty policy applies to all consumers purchasing a Polar Fox APU. Subject to the terms and conditions contained herein, Polar Fox Technologies LLC ("Polar Fox APU") provides the following warranty coverage:

1. Warranty Coverage:

​

• AC System (Evaporator, Compressor, and Condenser Systems): One-year standard warranty.

• Battery System: Five-year standard warranty.

• Heating System: Two-year standard warranty.

• Inverter System: One-year standard warranty.

• Shore Power System: One-year standard warranty.

• Installation labor Warranty: Installation Labor warranty provided by the authorized installer; it covers any issues caused by improper installation.

 

2. Warranty Activation:

 

To activate your warranty, customers must register their new Polar Fox APU within 30 days of installation. The installation date is determined by the date on the purchase receipt. Warranty coverage is only valid upon completion of the warranty registration process.

 

Customers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information provided during registration. Failure to register within the specified timeframe or providing inaccurate information may result in warranty coverage being void.

3. Warranty Claims:

 

All warranty claims must be submitted directly to Polar Fox APU by authorized Polar Fox APU dealers. Claims must include proof of purchase, installation details, and any relevant diagnostic information. All warranty repairs must be performed by an authorized Polar Fox APU dealer.

 

4. Warranty Exclusions:

 

This limited warranty does not cover:

​

• Defects, malfunctions, or failures resulting from improper installation, accidents, abuse, unauthorized modifications, or lack of proper maintenance.

• Normal maintenance services or parts associated with such services, including but not limited to air filters and refrigerants.

• Use of non-approved or aftermarket parts.

• Any damage caused by improper usage or environmental exposure.

• Any labor costs beyond the one-year labor coverage provided by the authorized installer.

• Exclusions for the Battery System:

  • Unauthorized disassembly or physical damage.

  • Reversed polarity during jump-starting or charging.

  • Use of a charger above 15V or failure to charge after battery depletion for over two weeks.

  • Improper installation causing damage.

  • Outdoor installation exposed to weather, leading to aging or damage.

  • Products used for more than eight years require testing at a professional facility for continued use.

 

5. Warranty Claims Process:

​

• The end user or dealership must submit a claim directly to Polar Fox APU.

• Upon verification, Polar Fox APU will determine if the claim is valid and provide authorization for replacement parts.

• Authorized service centers will perform repairs or replacements per Polar Fox APU guidelines.

 

6. Transfer of Warranty:

 

This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

 

7. Limitation of Liability:

 

Polar Fox APU shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, downtime, or commercial loss.

 

This warranty policy is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, and any disputes shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of Ohio courts.
